The project was a hugh success. The design consisting of large fabrics, hung from top frames with 4X 10K projectors on 4 sides of the ‘cube.’ The projections were a combination of live animation from a camera in front of the cube, and contextual elements such as movies from Christchurch’s past, its history and significant photos. The softwares used, including experimentation, design, execution and data management for any single aspect of this project are as follows: Resolume Arena, Data Path, Rhino, Grasshopper, Firefly, Platypus, Sonic, 3ds Max, Processing.com, Arduino Sensor Boards, X-Box Kinect, Adobe Indesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Light Board, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Speed Grade. We were awarded silver place for the Festival of Transitional Architecture in Christchurch.
